2024 Changsha Marathon Participant Statement

Note: All participants must carefully read the "2024 Changsha Marathon Participant Statement" before participating in the race. By submitting your registration information, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all contents of the "2024 Changsha Marathon Competition Rules" and "2024 Changsha Marathon Registration Notice," and have signed and submitted the participant statement.

As a participant, I, my guardian, legal representative, and any person who may bring a compensation claim or lawsuit on my behalf make the following statements:

1. I voluntarily participate in the 2024 Changsha Marathon and related activities (hereinafter referred to as "the event"). I confirm that I have the corresponding civil capacity and civil liability capacity to participate in this event and have obtained the consent of my guardian.

2. I confirm that I fully understand and agree to abide by all the regulations, rules, requirements, and measures formulated by the 2024 Changsha Marathon Organizing Committee and co-organizing institutions (hereinafter collectively referred to as "the organizers").

3. I confirm that I have carefully read the organizers' notice regarding all potential risks (including but not limited to the risk of personal injury or death caused by this sport) that may occur while participating in this event. I hereby expressly agree to assume the risks and responsibilities that may arise from participating in the 2024 Changsha Marathon.

4. I promise that I have undergone a medical examination at a regular medical institution, conducted a self-assessment based on the examination report, confirmed that my physical condition is suitable for running, and am prepared to participate in this event. I undertake to bear the risks that may arise from participating in the event (including but not limited to the risk of personal injury or death caused by this sport).

5. I bear full responsibility for any personal injury, partial or permanent disability, death, medical or hospitalization expenses, property damage, theft, or any form of property loss that occurs during the event and throughout the event. The organizers are exempt from any form of compensation and shall not bear any responsibility.

6. I authorize the event organizers and designated media to use my portrait, name, and voice free of charge for the promotion and publicity of the 2024 Changsha Marathon.

7. I agree that the organizers may collect my personal information, including but not limited to identity information and facial images, for purposes such as race material collection and check-in. I will provide the organizers with authentic identification documents to verify my identity and participation qualification, guarantee the authenticity and validity of the submitted documents and materials, and bear all responsibilities arising from providing false information. The organizers have the right to refuse my participation in the event and will not refund the registration fee paid in advance.

8. I promise to register for the event in my own name, not to transfer the qualification and bib number obtained after registration to others in any way, nor to allow others to run on my behalf, and to bear all responsibilities and consequences arising from transferring the qualification and bib number.

9. I agree not to damage, alter, or cover the official race bib before and during the event and to wear the event clothing as required by the event. I also agree that the organizers have the right to cancel my qualification if they find such violations.

10. I agree to comply with the instructions of referees, medical personnel, and security personnel during the event, to voluntarily withdraw from the event if I have not completed it within the closing time, feel unwell, or if there are sudden situations on the course, and to bear all responsibilities and consequences arising from my insistence on running.

11. I agree to accept on-site emergency medical treatment provided by the organizers during the event, but the related expenses for hospital treatment shall be borne by myself.

12. I agree that the organizers may insure me for personal accident insurance, and I confirm that I have been informed of and agree to the relevant contents of the insurance contract.

Given the competitive risks associated with road running, participants aged 18 and above but below 70 who have full civil capacity should sign on the signature page. Participants under 18 need their guardian or legal representative to sign, and participants aged 70 and above need their immediate family to sign to indicate that the participant's guardian, legal representative, or immediate family acknowledges their participation and bears the risks and responsibilities of participating in the 2024 Changsha Marathon and all related activities.

I, or my guardian, legal representative, or immediate family, have fully understood and agreed to the above content, guarantee the authenticity of my participation identity/age, and this document is personally signed by myself or my guardian, legal representative, or immediate family. Forgery will be considered a breach of contract, and I, my guardian, legal representative, immediate family, and the forger will bear all legal and compensation liabilities arising therefrom.
